Learning to Draw a Giraffe and Blend Using Pastels.

I enjoyed painting the background of my giraffe. I am proud of how I was careful with my brushstrokes. 

Learning to Compare Different Texts.

I found this activity quite tricky because I had to use other people to help me. I am proud of having people in my class that help me. My next step with comparing texts is to concentrate and make sure my differences make sense.

I found this activity quite fun and interesting because I liked making the lemonade and watching it fizz up and it helped with writing the instructions. I am proud of using the correct punctuation. My next step with writing instructions is to focus on writing in chronological order.

I have been learning to summarise a story. My group read The Girl who Climber to the Moon. I found this a bit tricky, I couldn't think of why it happened. I could use my group to help me. My next step is to work out the why.

I have been learning to play Mary Had a Little Lamb. I like playing the recorder because I like playing G,A,B. I am good at my G’s but I find A’s tricky.

I found this activity a bit tricky because I found it tricky to look through the pages to find something interesting. My next step will be to practice on some harder books because my Dad wants me to read harder books.

My Tapa Cloth

I liked how I tried my best working on my pictures on my Tapa Cloth and I liked using the crayons to make them. 

Learning to add tens.

I have been using mathletics to help me practice adding my tens.

I worked this one out by adding the two numbers. I know that three plus two equals five so 30 + 20 will be 50 and three plus two will be five and then fifty plus five will be 55 so the answer is 55. 

I like using mathletics sometimes because I just like figuring out other things so that I can get even smarter. Sometimes it is fun and sometimes it is hard but I don't give up.
